Shelton S. Frost, 88, of Indianapolis, died early morning on October 24, 2008 at Brownsburg Health Care Center. He was born on February 12, 1920 in Streeter, IL to John and Artie (Minton) Frost. Mr. Frost married Mildred Pauline Garrett who preceded him in death. Mr. Frost lived most of his life in the Indianapolis area. He was a Son of God by the obedience of Jesus Christ. He was a member of the Lakeview Church. Mr. Frost retired from the Indianapolis Star after 38 years as a mechanic. He loved to laugh, joke and pester his loved ones and will be sadly missed by his family. He also loved to watch westerns. Mr. Frost is survived by one son: John (Peggy) Frost; four daughters: Delores Wright, Beth Frost, Artie Shoaf and Becky Hamilton. He is also survived by three brothers: Paul Frost, Donald Frost and Jack Frost; four sisters, Naomi Walker, Grace Sipos, Betty Toudouze, and Jewel Johnson. Mr. Frost also is survived by 6 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.Mr. Frost was preceded in death by his parents, wife; one brother Mason Frost; one sister Beulah Mock; and one granddaughter, Amy Wright. Visitation for Mr. Frost will be at the Forest Lawn Funeral Home, 1977 S. St. Rd 135, Greenwood, IN 46143 starting on Monday October 27, 2008 from 4pm to 8pm. Service will be at 10:00 am on Tuesday October 28, 2008 at the funeral home. Entombment will follow immediately following services in the Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.
