Shirley Dean (Vinson) Buchanon, 79, of Greenwood, IN passed away at 5:10 pm on Friday, August 31, 2018. She was born in Scottsville, KY on September 8, 1938, and was the daughter of Sam and Lorene Vinson. Shirley married Kenneth Wyatt Buchanon on November 7, 1959 and they shared nearly 50 years together before he passed away on January 25, 2008.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Sam and Lorene Vinson and a sister, Jackie Cline.

Shirley is survived by her daughters, Donna (Kevin) Thompson and Shari (Joshua) Early; son, Kerry (Melissa) Buchanon; 5 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren and 3 step great grandchildren.
