Shirley Ann Eppley, of Franklin, passed away September 23, 2019. She was born September 30, 1930 to Lloyd and Veda Brandt in Harrisburg, PA.  Shirley married John R. Eppley on December 24, 1949 in St. Louis Missouri.  Shirley and John have been residents of Franklin for 62 years.  Mrs. Eppley enjoyed sewing and needlepoint, jigsaw puzzles, gardening, and traveling.  Shirley is survived by her husband, John R. Eppley; son, John "Steve" (Linda) Eppley of Ellettsville, IN; daughter, Donna L. (Ed) Morrow of Lafayette, IN; brothers, Jerry (Janet) Brandt of Frostproof, FL, and Richard (June) Brandt of Enola, PA; 5 grandchildren, 2 step grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, 5 step great grandchildren; and 4 nephews.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Cure Alzheimer's Fund https://curealz.org . Visitation will be Monday, September 30, 2019 from 10 a.m. – 12 p.m. with a funeral service at 12 p.m. at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, 1977 S. State Rd. 135, Greenwood, IN 46143.
