Obituary

Shirley Ann Westfall went to heaven on August 25, 2025. She was born on February 25, 1934, Dayton Ohio to Leo Jack and Onda Fern (Sarver) Lees. She graduated High School in 1952 from West Side High School in Union City, Indiana. She married William "Bud" Westfall on August 8, 1952, at the First Christian Church.

After being a stay-at--home mom for a few years, she worked for 31 years at North Side Elementary as a Secretary for the Principal retiring in 1996.

Shirley's mission in life was to care for people and animals. She loved her granddaughters, nieces and nephews and nothing made her happier than spending time at the lake and pool with them. She loved attending all their athletic and school event as they were growing up. Her love and support for them is a big reason for their success and positive positions in their adult life. In her later years, she was blessed with three great grandchildren, who brought her the same joy.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William, a son, Gregory Kent Westfall; two brothers, Kenneth E. Lees and Daniel W. Lees; mother-in-law, Naomi Boze Westfall-Hill;

Shirley is survived by a son, Marc Allan (Jennifer) Westfall; granddaughters, Carly Ann (Brad) Howell, Erin Lynn (Brian) Dugger all of Greenwood; three great grandchildren, Miles Allan Howell, Delaney Ann Dugger and William Leo Dugger; three nephews, Robert, Daniel, and Tom Lees.

There will be a graveside service in the future at Union City Cemetery.
