Shirley A. Tucher, 76, of Indianapolis, (formerly of LaPaz, Indiana), passed away at 6:30 a.m. Thursday, January 3, 2013 after a lengthy illness. She was born on April 3, 1936 in Westmoreland, Tennessee to Virgil and Margaret "Wadeen" (Leath) Willis.

She is survived by three daughters: Kathy (Roger) Ecker of LaPaz, Indiana, Linda (Bobby) Keithley of Morristown, Indiana , Brenda (Merlin) Borkholder of Bremen, Indiana and brother, Wayne Willis of Westmoreland, Tennessee. Also surviving are nine grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, seven nephews and one niece. She is preceded in death by her parents; her brother, Doug Willis of Indianapolis; son, Rick Tucher of Indianapolis and nephew, James Willis of Westmoreland, Tennessee.

Shirley retired as a Metro City bus driver in Indianapolis.

Visitation will be on Tuesday, January 8, 2013 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. with the funeral services to follow at Forest Lawn Funeral Home - 1977 South State Road 135 Greenwood, Indiana. Entombment will follow in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens, Greenwood.
