Stanley Earl Eldridge, 87, of Bargersville passed away December 20, 2013. Born February 2, 1926, he was the son of the late Virgil B. and Rose (Zaring) Eldridge. He married Edna Hash on January 18, 1948 in Indianapolis.

He was a 1944 Graduate of Union High School in Providence, Indiana. Stanley worked as a department manager for Kroger Stores for many years. He was a member of Providence Christian Church. He was a life member of Union Village Masonic Lodge #545, where he served as Chaplain for eighteen years. He was also a member of Union Village Order of Eastern Star Chapter # 584, and was the former Royal Patron of The Order of Amaranth. He loved working outdoors in his garden, and spending time with his dog Bear.

He is survived by, his wife Edna; four sons, Kenneth (Judith K.) Eldridge, Dennis (Shirley E.) Eldridge, Wayne (Judy A.) Eldridge, and William (Diana) Eldridge, ten grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, and a step-father, George Thompson.

Funeral services will be Saturday, December 28, 2013, 11:00 AM at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, 1977 South S.R. 135, Greenwood, Indiana. Visitation Friday from 4 to 8 PM, with a Masonic Memorial Service at 7:00 PM.
