Obituary

Stanley Alan Hyatt, 60, of Indianapolis, formerly of Whiteland, passed away peacefully with family by his side May 20, 2014. He was born December 16, 1953 in Kadoka, South Dakota to G. Russell Hyatt and Peggy Mesick Hyatt who preceded him in death.

He was a 1971 graduate of Southport High School and Lincoln Technical Institute in 1973. He worked for Detroit Diesel Allison for 25 years before retiring. He was a member of UAW 933. He loved his family, racing and fishing.

He is survived by his three loving children, Rachel Britton (Chris Johnson) of San Bernadino, CA, Angela Britton of Greenwood and David Britton (friend Joshua Quick) of Franklin; two sisters, Barbara (Kenneth) King of Indianapolis and Marilyn (Tom) Lacey of Brownsburg; grandchildren, Lilly Ann, Angel, Michael, and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life will be held Friday, May 23, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. with visitation before the service from 12:30 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Forest Lawn Funeral Home - 1977 South State Road 135, with entombment to follow.
