Stella M. Davison, 95, of Lafayette passed away January 13, 2017. She was born September 20, 1921 in Bedford, IN to Jesse H. and Helen M. Lafferty.

Stella was a delightful woman to spend quality time with. Her good nature and experiences throughout her life we''re a tribute to her. Stella had a great relationship with her grandchildren and enjoyed spending time with her great grandchildren. She spent many hours remembering the good times with them and laughing. She dearly loved her family. Her memories were shared with her friends almost everyday. Stella enjoyed traveling, dancing and casinos. In the final two years of her life Stella began a battle with dementia that decreased the quality of life and it eventually ended her journey.

She was preceded in death by her parents; first husband, Farrell Hawkins; second husband, Dave Davison; one brother and two sisters.

Stella is survived by her son, Mike (Sue) Hawkins; 2 sisters; grandchildren, Lance and Troy Hawkins; step grandchildren, Shawn Miller and Michelle Roberson; 2 great grandchildren and companion, William Uerkwitz.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 17 from 12:00 pm - 2:00 pm with a funeral service at 2:00 pm in Forest Lawn Funeral Home, 1977 S. State Rd. 135, Greenwood. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Alzheimer''s Association, 50 E. 91st St., Ste 100, Indianapolis, IN 46240.
