Stephen Neal Deputy, 47, of Indianapolis passed away November 11, 2017. He was born March 8, 1970 in Franklin, IN to Melvin and Angela (Beckley) Deputy.

Steve loved Harleys and enjoyed rebuilding them. He was a hard worker who loved his job as a tow truck driver, and helping out in the community. Steve was a dedicated father to all his children and worked 3rd shift to take care of his infant son.

He was preceded in death by his father, Melvin Deputy and brother, James Deputy.

He is survived by his companion, Amber Bunch; mother, Angela Deputy; sons, Stephen (Kasey) Deputy II, Jacob Deputy, Levi (Christine) Deputy and Michael Deputy; brother, Joseph Deputy; sisters, Marilyn Sharp, Carolyn Salinas, Rita Keuhrmann, Melinda Hartman and Catherine Wright; 8 grandchildren; niece, Heather Carter, 17 nieces and nephews; numerous cousins and his two best friends, Chris and Steve Schafer.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 19 from 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm in Forest Lawn Funeral Home, 1977 S. State Rd. 135, Greenwood. A funeral service will be held on Monday, November 20 at 10:00 am in Emmanuel Church, 1640 Stones Crossing Road West, Greenwood, IN. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.
