Sue P. Hughes, 83, of Fishers, passed away May 7, 2015. The daughter of William A. Evans and Sussie P. Milligan Evans Gitleson, Sue was born October 25, 1931 in Harris, Oklahoma.

She was a secretary with Balkamp for 37 years, retiring in 1996. Sue loved being with family, especially grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She would attend functions with her late husband at the American Legion.

Sue is survived by daughter, Susie (Tad) Ziegler; sons, Dennis and Kenneth Hughes; grandchildren, A.J. (Amanda) Ziegler, Casie (T.J.) Kessler, Staci (Clay Marmion) Ziegler, Trisha McCreary, Scott Hughes, Kristi Jones and James Hughes; great-grandchildren, Brycen, Emma, Hayden, J.J., Jaelyn, Janae, Mason and Sam. Besides her parents, Sue was preceded in death by her husband, James L. Hughes and brothers, William, Floyd and Wallace Evans.

Graveside services 1:00 p.m. May 11, 2015 at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens, Greenwood, with burial to follow.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Alzheimer''s Association 50 East 91st Street, Suite 100 Indianapolis, IN 46240.
