Sue Carol (Howell) Hogue passed from her earthly life on January 16th, 2025, at her home at Compass Park in Franklin, IN. Sue was born January 5th, 1934, to Ruby Hazel (Donoho) and Jurey Selton Howell in Bowling Green, Kentucky.

Sue was proceeded in death by her brothers, Jurey 'Buddy' Wilford Howell and William 'Billy' Wayne Howell; her sisters, Winifred Juanita (Howell) Galloway, Dorothy Marie (Howell) Davis, and Doris Evelyn (Howell) Hudson; her grandson, Shawn Paul McGill; her first husband, Robert Hamilton McGill; and her second husband, Walter Neal Hogue.

Sue is survived by her siblings, including her brother, Scott (Gail) Taylor Howell of Palm Coast, FL; and her sister, Shirley E. (Howell) Lockhart of Greentown, IN. Sue is survived by all three of her children: Robert Hamilton McGill II of Beavercreek, OH, Patricia Ann (McGill) Pierle of Bargersville, IN, and Linda Kay (McGill) Marlin of Indianapolis, IN, as well as six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

As a young person, Sue worked at the [ ... ] telephone company in Franklin, IN. Later in life she spent time working in clothing manufacturing, and retired from Fruit-of-the-Loom at age [ ... ]  in Bowling Green, KY.

Sue cherished time with her grandchildren as well as caring for her great-grandchildren. Sue enjoyed feeding her family and was great at cooking. She made wonderful dishes like hamburger casserole, potato soup, and the best lima beans, as well as breakfasts with perfectly cooked bacon.

Sue had a green thumb and an appreciation for the outdoors, birds, and wildlife, as well as fishing. She especially enjoyed Knock Out roses. Sue liked doing yardwork and maintaining the landscape around her home.

Sue was loved and will be deeply missed by her family. Sue requested a closed service at the time of her passing, however, prayers for Sue would be deeply appreciated.
