Susan "Sue" Jean (Woods) Wilson, 73, of Southport, Indiana passed away at home surrounded by her family on Sunday, March 15, 2020.  She was born August 8, 1946 in Linton, Indiana to Jack and Joetta (Wools) Woods.

Sue became a mom early in life and worked hard to raise her family.  She was able to enjoy many career opportunities in her life including bar tending, hair stylist, school bus driver for Perry Township, and as a factory worker at Endress+Hauser.  When Sue wasn't working, she was a social butterfly, enjoying time with her friends or staying at home watching Pacers games with her family.  Sue was a fighter; she battled many illnesses and overcame them all.  She developed Parkinson's disease later in life, but fought on until her body just couldn't fight any longer.  She is loved dearly by her family and friends and will be greatly missed.

Sue is survived by her children, Christine Bratcher and Jerry Tucker; brother Jack  E. Woods;, sister, Sharon Slvester; grandson, Dylan Bratcher; 3 great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Sue was preceded in death by her sister, Shirley Leim.

There will be a private family gathering Thursday, March 19.  A celebration of life will be held at a later date as yet to be determined.  In lieu of flowers, thoughts and prayers are appreciated by the family, or memorial contributions may be made to the The Michael J.
