Suzanne M. Otto Morrison, 79, of Greenwood, formerly of Bargersville, passed away July 30, 2016. The daughter of Merritt M. and Leona Deppert Otto, Suzanne was born October 12, 1936 in South Bend, Indiana.
For 15 years, she taught at St. Barnabas Catholic School. She later spent 25 years working as a bookkeeper for Indianapolis Rubber Company, RCA and for CarBrite. Suzanne was a member of SS. Francis and Claire of Assisi Catholic Church; served on an auxiliary board and volunteered at St. Francis Hospital; taught religious education classes at SS. Francis and Claire of Assisi. She enjoyed sewing, and would sew puppies for St. Francis Hospital. Suzanne loved being with her grandchildren and would also hold annual female get-to-gathers with her sisters.
A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 2:00 p.m. August 3, 2016 at SS. Francis and Claire of Assisi Catholic Church - 5901 Olive Branch Road, Greenwood, Indiana 46143, to which memorial contributions may be made.
Survivors include her daughter, Dolores A. Gualtieri (Carl) of Belle Mead, NJ; sons, David A. Morrison of Indianapolis and Dennis A. Morrison (Barbara) of Bargersville; sisters, Elizabeth Domer of Somers, CT and Mary Margaret Sweeny of Kittery, ME; grandchildren, Jarrell Morrison, Ramey Morrison, James Morrison, Dylan Morrison, Nicholas Morrison, Jeremiah Land and Kaleigh Markiewicz; two great-grandchildren. Besides her parents, Suzanne was preceded in death by her husband, Victor P. Morrison and her brother, Jerome Otto.
