Sylvan "Red" Knoy 97, of Indianapolis, IN passed away December 21, 2019.  He was born in Clayton, IN to the late Claud and Florence Knoy.  Red is survived by 3 grandchildren, 2 great children, and 1 great-great grandchild.  He was preceded in death by his wife Margie (Bird) Knoy; daughters Verna Jean Toone, and Mary Jo Jones; and son Rudy Eugene Knoy.

Red was a World War II Navy veteran and retired from Detroit Diesel  Allison.

Visitation will be held Friday December 27 ^th from Noon – 1:00 PM at Forest Lawn Funeral Home 1977 S. State Rd. 135 Greenwood, IN 46143 followed by a funeal service at 1:00 PM in the funeral home.  Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Cemetery.
