Tammey Lee Sipes, Bloomington, IN, passed away on Tuesday, August 19, 2025. She was 54 years old. Tammey was born in Watseka, IL to her parents Carl and Lucille Goldsberry. She graduated from Watseka High School and attended Ivy Tech to earn her degree and become certified as an RN. Tammey married her husband, Paul Sipes, on September 25, 1998, and they shared 28 years of marriage together.
Tammey worked as an RN for several years before transitioning into home healthcare. She was extremely passionate and attentive to everyone she worked with. Tammey made a point to follow procedures and go above and beyond for all of her patients. She built and maintained relationships with the people she cared for and poured herself into them whenever she could. Tammey's favorite hobbies included riding on the back of her husband's motorcycles and caring for her expansive collection of house plants. Tammey was also known to love shopping and hunting for a good bargain. Tammey had a deep love for her children and grandchildren that carried her though life. She will be remembered as an outgoing, generous, loving, and compassionate person that spread joy to everyone she interacted with. Tammey will be dearly missed by those she leaves behind.
Tammey is survived by her husband, Paul Sipes; her children, Ashley Goldsberry, Zach Loyd, Paul Sipes Jr., and Michael Sipes; her grandchildren, Austin Matlock, Alexis Clark, and Kendall Clark.
Tammey is preceded in death by her parents, Carl and Lucille Goldsberry; her brother, Carl "Bub" Goldsberry.
There will be no services at this time.
