Teresa Ann (Hinton) Anderson, Plainfield, IN, went home to her Lord on Wednesday, June 24, 2026, after a battle with cancer. She was 61 years old. Teresa was born in Indianapolis, IN, to her parents Carol “Paul” and Helen Hinton. She graduated from North Putnam High School and attended MiraCosta Oceanside College to obtain various certifications.

Teresa worked for the Chrysler Foundry as a engine block maker for over 20 years before she retired in 2005. Teresa was a member of the Pentecostal faith and allowed her religious convictions to guide and comfort her all throughout her life. Teresa enjoyed listening to country music, riding bikes, and taking walks in her free time. She loved to wind down at the end of the night with a good movie and a delicious meal. Teresa was a talented cook and leaves behind mouthwatering memories of her delicious famous macaroni and cheese. She believed in using a hands-on approach to her cooking; it's how she was able to convey love into every meal she prepared. Teresa had a soft spot for animals and took to feeding the strays in her neighborhood. Teresa will be remembered for her ever present generosity, devotion to her family, and her independent nature. Teresa will be dearly missed and forever cherished by those she leaves behind.

Teresa is survived by her son, Richie (Katrina) Holliday; her 6 grandchildren; her 3 great grandchildren, and 3 on the way; her brother, Roger Hinton.

Teresa is preceded in death by her parents; her daughter, Tabitha Holliday; her sister, Tammy Hinton.

There will be no services at this time.
