Obituary

Teresa Lynn (Clements) Human, 55 of Roachdale, IN passed away on Tuesday, January 5, 2021. Teresa passed away after a year-long battle with Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma. She spent her last several weeks of life with her family.

Teresa was born on August 25, 1965 to Leon and Shirley Clements in Indianapolis. She graduated in 1983 from Mooresville High School and attended college at Ball State University. She married her husband, Kenneth Human Jr. on May 16, 1987, whom she is survived by. She is also survived by her parents, Leon and Shirley; daughter, Kayleen (Devon) Jones, granddaughters Charleigh and Avery Jones; son, Kenny Human, grandchildren Kenny, Gavin, and MariEva Human; daughter Dawn (Kelly) Nicholas, grandchildren, Bailer, Brayton, Brynn, and Becker; her three sisters Denise (Rodney) Ellis, Rhonda (Johnny) Burwell, and Brenda Clements, as well as several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her grandmother and grandfather, Robert and Mary Agnew, and her daughter, Crystal Human.

Teresa was a loving, compassionate, and outgoing person who loved life. Whether it was spending time with her husband, parents, sisters, children, and/or grandchildren, her family meant the world to her. She loved spending time with her grandchildren, especially taking girls trips with her daughter and granddaughters or taking her grandsons to the lake. Teresa and her daughter Kayleen spent every day together, whether it be a quick meal, shopping, weekend trips, vacations, or phone conversations about life. She spent a lot of her time at the theater, traveling, or on her houseboat with her husband at Dale Hollow Lake. Her favorite vacations were spent in New York City or on a cruise ship. She was an avid fan and groupie of the band 3 rd Generation for the last 20 years and was always up for a good party. She had a bleeding heart. She loved all people and dedicated her life to serving others by donating to multiple charities and working for Putnam County Comprehensive Services for 32 years serving individuals with developmental and intellectual disabilities. During this time she touched so many lives and truly made the world a better place. Some of her fondest memories as a child were going to church camp. She became a counselor at a young age at a camp for children with special needs, which led to this love of serving others. While she may no longer be here, her love and impact will extend generations.

The services will be held at Forest Lawn Funeral Home and Cemetery on Tuesday, January 12, 2021. There will be a drive-by visitation from 10:00am-1:30pm.
