Teresa A. Brown, 69, of Mooresville passed away July 8, 2017. She was born June 17, 1948 in Indianapolis, IN to George and Betty (Childers) Marianos.
Teresa loved gardening, traveling and animals, especially horses. She showed quarter horses with her children for many years. Teresa graduated from Southport High School in 1966 and graduated with honors from Purdue University. Teresa married Jerry E. Brown in Hawaii and worked as an electrical engineer at Allison''s Transmission.
Teresa was preceded in death by her loving husband, Jerry E. Brown and father, George Marianos.
She is survived by her mother, Betty Marianos; sons, Brett (Kelly) Browning and Chris Browning; sisters, Sherry (Jim) Bleier, Debbie Williams, Donna (John) Senese, Georgeann (Randy) Tschoepe-Scott and Linda (David) Goetze; grandchildren, Brittany Brown, Brendan (Kylee) Browning, Tawny Browning, Cody Browning and Paul Thorpe and canine companion, Peanut.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 12 from 10:00 am - 11:00 am with a funeral service at 11:00 am in Forest Lawn Funeral Home, 1977 S. State Rd. 135, Greenwood.
