Terry Lynn Hensley, 59 of Indianapolis passed away on August 20, 2011. Terry was born in Indianapolis and was employed as a Bookkeeper/Purchasing Clerk for Perry Township Schools for over twenty-two years. She prided herself in her work and enjoyed spending time with family. Terry loved to decorate, watch movies, spend time at the lake, had a big heart and a lot of style. More so, Terry was a HUGE lover of animals ("creatures"). Terry was preceded in death by her parents, Kenneth "Bud" and Elizabeth "Dean" Hensley and brother-in-law Tony English. Her memory remains with friends, co-workers and her special family to include: son, James Landon Hensley; grandson; Elijah Hensley; three sisters, Linda Hensley Morey, Gwen English, Traci Berry (Michael); six nieces and nephews, DeeDee Alvery, Evvie Stephenson, Mendy Roudebush, Jarrett English, Shelbi Berry, and Carli Berry; and two special cats, Toby Fatty, and Miss Face. Family and friends will gather at Forest Lawn on Wednesday, August 24, 2011 from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM with a celebration of life on Thursday, August 25, 2011 at 11:00 AM with burial immediately following in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens. As Terry would wish, memorial contributions should be made to The Indianapolis Humane Society.
