Thelma L. Ridings, 90, passed away Sunday, March 4, 2012. Thelma was born on January 22, 1922. She married her love Richard F. Ridings on May 17, 1941.
Thelma was a very kind, caring, quiet, and loving woman. She was very active with her family and friends. She was a member of Cumberland Presbyterian Church.
Thelma is survived by her loving grandson Beau Ridings (Jamie); sister Vergie Wright; and several nieces and nephews.
Thelma was preceded in death by her parents; husband Richard of 65+ years; sons: Robert and Donald Ridings; and 4 siblings.
Visitation will be on Thursday, March 8, 2012 from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, 1977 S. State Rd. 135, Greenwood. The funeral service will immediately follow. Burial will take place in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.
