Thelma G. Winkle,77, proprietor of BullWinkle's Used Furniture, Fine Collectables and everyday Household items, of Indianapolis passed away on August 19,2011. She and her husband Richard E. greatly enjoyed buying and re-selling merchandise in their store. They prided themselves on having a wide variety of merchandise for purchase. Other than their hobby and business of buying and selling, Thelma and Richard loved the outdoors. Thelma enjoyed reading and fishing, as long as the fish were biting! Thelma, most of all spent her valued time with her beloved husband and family. Thelma supported her local Fire Station 18 directly across the street. She enjoyed baking goodies for the firefighters at each holiday. Even though Thelma did not necessary believed in why our troops were fighting where deployed, she always supported the troops and their families. Her awe-inspiring smile will be greatly missed by all the people she came into contact with. Survivors include her husband, Richard E. Winkle; three sons, Richard L. (Doris) Winkle, James (Cathy) Winkle, Forrest (Cindy) Winkle; three daughters, Barbara Wills, Marsha (Bob) France, Geneva (Mark) Stephenson; Aunt Ruth ; nieces Diane and Ginger and their families; more than six-teen grand-children; twenty great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. Thelma was preceded in death by her parents Loyd and Nellie Harris; two sisters Nettie and Littie ; and brother Jupe. Family and friends will gather at Forest Lawn Funeral Home on Sunday, August 28, 2011 from 12:00PM until 2:00PM with a memorial service immediately following also at the funeral home.
