Thomas Edward Dile, 76 of Whiteland, passed away on Tuesday, February 01, 2011. He was born to the late German and Carrie Dile of Greensburg, Ky. Thomas worked as a Journeyman meat cutter in Kroger for 25 years; a skill that he had mastered. Survivors include his loving wife, Barbara Dile; two sons, Mark and Thomas Dile; two daughters, Terri (Kenneth) Ballard, Jodi Smith; one sister, Pearl Barbara Stone; two brothers, Wilbur and Jefferson (J.D.) Dile; and four grandchildren, Amanda, Nicholas Ballard, Monica Dile, and Gregory Smith. Family and friends will gather in Forest Lawn Funeral Home on Saturday, February 5, 2011 from 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM.
