Thomas I. Hood, 73, of Franklin, Indiana died Tuesday, June 1, 2010. Tom was born to the late William and Martha White Hood in Greenwood, Indiana on January 2, 1937. Tom served our country in the US Army and became a disabled veteran in 1960. He married Marjorie Weaver in 1960 and she survives. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping and CB radios. Also surviving are three sons and daughter-in-laws: Mike and Ellen Campbell, Tom and Sheila Hood and Jeff and Sally Hood. One daughter: Marcia Milto. One brother: Dennis Hood. Ten grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren. He is preceded by his parents, one daughter: Peggy Sue Hood, and one brother: Bill Hood. Family will receive friends Friday from 11:00 am till time of service at 12:00 PM at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens and Funeral Home, 1977 South State Road 135, Greenwood, IN 46143. Burial to follow at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens with military graveside rites. Memorials may be given to either the American Heart or American Diabetes Associations.
