Thomas Francis Powers Jr., Indianapolis, IN, passed away on Saturday, July 25, 2026. He was 68 years old. Thomas was born in New Haven, CT, to his parents Thomas Francis Powers Sr. and Andrea (Smith) Powers. Thomas was raised alongside his siblings as a Catholic. He graduated from Richard C. Lee High School and attended some higher education. As a young man, Thomas enjoyed frequenting the VFW in Connecticut with his father to enjoy quality time together. Thomas married his wife, Nancy (Mancini) Powers, on February 16, 1980, and they shared 47 years of marriage together. Thomas answered the call of this nation by enlisting into the United States Navy and after his period of faithful service was honorably discharged.
