Timothy Allen Mulkey Sr., 70, of Beech Grove passed away October 10, 2017. He was born October 4, 1947 in Indianapolis, IN to Robert F. and Mabel Louise (Gibson) Mulkey.

Tim proudly served his county in the US Army and served in the Vietnam War. He spent six years in service and received four bronze medals. Tim was a member of the American Legion, Post 500, Speedway. He worked for Culligan Water Conditioning for four years. He then worked several years for Davis Wholesale, Inc. as a dock foreman and retired in 2004.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Delbert Dewey and Grace Mulkey; maternal grandparents, Ulric Riley and Hattie Mae (Powell) Gibson; father, Robert Franklin Mulkey Sr. and mother, Mabel Louise Mulkey.

Tim is survived by his two brothers, Robert Franklin Mulkey Jr. and Richard Lee Mulkey; three sisters, Janet Kay (Milligan), Marsha Elaine (Gryszowka) and Judith Ann (Weinantz); two daughters by, Cheryl (Elliot), Tammy Michelle and Theresa Ann (Bell); son by Yvonne (Leffler), Timothy A. Mulkey Jr.; eight grandchildren; two great grandchildren and eleven nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Monday, October 16, 2017 from 11:00 am - 1:00 pm with a funeral service at 1:00 pm at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, 1977 S. State Rd. 135, Greenwood. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.
