"Tim" Timothy Wayne Essex,  Indianapolis, passed away on Thursday, June 8, 2023. He was 64 years old. Tim was born in Nelson County Kentucky to his parents John Damion and Eva Pauline Essex. He attended Manual High School and later completed his GED. Tim married his wife, Joan, on June 10, 1989 and together they shared 34 years of marriage together.
Tim worked as an Machinist for a variety of businesses and retired in 2005 after many years of service. Tim will be remembered as a gruff individual with a heart of gold. He was a simple man who excelled at computers. He was also always a lover of animals and babies. The memories created will now be cherished by those he leaves behind.
Tim is survived by his wife, Joan; his children, Ryan Essex and Jassamyn Fredrick; his grandchildren, Myrrey Weddle and Azreal Spurlin; his siblings, Patricia Finchum, Marilyn Essex, Joseph Essex, Darlene Morgan, Robert "Bob" Essex, Katie Smith; his abundant nieces and nephews; his cat, Mimi.
Tim is preceded in death by his parents; his brother, John Essex.
A visitation for  Tim will be held on Friday, June 16, 2023 from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm at Forest Lawn Funeral Home. Burial will immediately follow at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens at 2:00 pm.
