Tina Marie Pettijohn, Clayton, IN, passed away on Sunday, February 22, 2026. She was 64 years old. Tina was born in Indianapolis, IN, to her parents Edward Lee and Evelyn Spears. Tina married her husband, Jeff Pettijohn, on March 23, 2017, and they shared 9 years of marriage together.
Tina worked for Walmart as a night associate for several years. She loved working and developed an impactful work ethic that earned her the respect of her coworkers and beyond. Tina took comfort in Christian values and subscribed to the lessons of the Bible. In her free time, Tina enjoyed singing Karaoke with her sisters and riding motorcycles with her husband. She was a lifelong animal lover and raised several beloved pets including cats, dogs, and even ferrets. Tina loved to spend time with her family and passionately took care of her husband. She will be remembered for her warmth, sense of humor, and strong headed nature. Tina's inner strength and meaningful kindness will be deeply missed and forever cherished by those she leaves behind.
Tina is survived by her husband, Jeff Pettijohn; her siblings, Donald (Betty) Spears, Debbie Spears, and Brenda Scott; her parents-in-law, William and Shirley Connette; her siblings-in-law, Carmen Schoditsch, Gary (Ruth) Pettijohn, and JoAnn Spears; her several nieces and nephews.
Tina is preceded in death by her parents; her son, Steven Grubb; her brothers, Wayne Spears and Bobby Spears; her brother-in-law, William Scott.
A visitation for Tina will be held on Wednesday, March 4, 2026, at Forest Lawn Funeral Home from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm. The funeral service will be on Wednesday, March 4, 2026, at 1:00 pm. Burial will immediately follow at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens at 2:00 pm.
