Obituary

Tina Stamper 92, of Indianapolis, passed away August 17, 2008. She was born August 5, 1916 in Knott County Kentucky and was the daughter of Phillip and Ida (Collins) Gibson. She was married to James E. Stamper who preceded her in death. Tina was a homemaker and enjoyed gardening, fishing, cooking, canning, traveling, as well as cruises. Tina attended Grace Community Church. She is survived by her son, Paul Vance (Marcia) of Flordia, daughters , Laura Lee Hylton, of Indiana, Emily Anderson (Earl), of Indiana, Shirley Hall, of Kentucky, Janice Hall, of Indiana, Brenda Philabum (Dave), of Indiana, Barbara Hardin (Larry), of Indiana, brother, Woodrow Gibson, of Kentucky, sister, Edna Taylor, of Michigan, a special friend of the family, Allan Wallace, of Indiana. She is also survived by 26 grandchildren, 50 great grandchildren and 47 great-great grandchildren. Her husband, parents, sisters (Vinnie, Minnie, Rachael, Rosie Sexton, Ethel Gibson, Virsa Thomas); brothers (Troy, Albert and Alinzo Gibson); sons (Phillip Ray Vance and Charles E. Stamper); daughters (Judy C. Kolanowski and Alfreda Vance). Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00pm on Wednesday, August 20 at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, 1977 S. St. Rd. 135, Greenwood, IN. Visitation will be from 12:00pm until time of service.
