Tressa N Gierhart, 67 died Monday April 2, 2018.  She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who was loved by all who had the opportunity to meet her.  She had a passion for playing cards with friends & family and was a force to be reckoned with at a poker table.

She was born June 20, 1950 in Richmond, IN to Dave Parrish and Myra Parrish.  She married three times but only divorced once. Tressa began life as a Parrish, and raised two kids as a Snyder. She enjoyed a wonderful marriage to Robert J. Schmoll until he preceded her in death.  In 2015 she married Charles Gierhart a fellow widow and they complimented each other well. Tressa had a gift dealing with people and enjoyed tremendous longevity being a bartender/manager at a couple of Indianapolis west side locations. Began working at the "Pair of Jacks" in the 70's, then the Beverage Inn and finished her career at the Friendly Tavern in Zionsville after 29 years of service.
Tressa will be remembered by her Husband Charles Gierhart, Brother Mark Parrish, Daughter Tara Chappell, Son Todd Snyder, Step Son's Nicholas, Michael, and Christopher Schmoll and step daughter Jackie Schmoll.  Grand children Sara Snyder, Seth Snyder, Daniel Chappell, Josh Chappell, Marshall Chappell, and many step grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her Father David Parrish, mother Myra Prifogle, Brother Jeff Parrish and Sister Cynthia Zauner.
Visitation will be held at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, 1977 S. State Road
135, Greenwood, IN 317-535-9003 Sunday, April 8, 2018, 2PM to 8PM.
