U.S. Mills, 78, of Indianapolis passed away April 18, 2018. He was born on March 11, 1940 to Sherman and Fannie Mills.

U.S. loved his wife and children dearly. He was a member of the Masons who enjoyed fishing, hunting, gardening and was a true outdoorsman.

U.S. was preceded in death by his siblings, Vestie Flannery, Bricie Mills and Lillie Jines; half siblings, Amos Mills; Mitchell Mills and Tressie Grubb.

He is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Barbara Mills; children, Jeff (Linda Grooters) Mills, Brigitte (Donnie Moore) Mills, Heather Mills and Steve Mills; half brothers, Jasper Grubb, Shafer (Janet) Grubb and J.C. Grubb and sister, Mabel (Freddie) Wolfe.

Visitation will be held on Monday, April 23, 2018 from 11:00 am – 1:00 pm with a funeral service at 1:00 pm in Forest Lawn Funeral Home, 1977 S. State Rd. 135, Greenwood. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.
