Valerie (Lori) Rose Foudray, of Indianapolis, Indiana, passed from this life in Greenwood, Indiana, on Wednesday, August 27, 2025.

Lori was born on February 17, 1967, to Linda (Caviness) and William Grubb in Beech Grove. She was an exceptional student, both academically and athletically, throughout her tenure at Greenwood Public Schools.

Lori faithfully served the Indiana Members Credit Union for over 36 years, beginning as a teller and, with diligent effort, achieved the role of branch manager, a position which she held until her passing. She was well-loved by many fellow IMCU employees and members alike.

Lori was full of life—always upbeat, energetic, and ready to make life fun. She was a consistent traveller, often booking at least two trips per year to various destinations. She did so with her wide network of friends and loved ones, who thoroughly enjoyed and sought out her company. Some of her travels with her beloved friends included Alaska, Ireland, Italy, California wine country, and a Canadian cruise.

Lori was selfless, had a wonderful sense of humor, and will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her. She is survived by her entire world—her daughter, Chelsie (Matthew) Spivey, and grandson Conner, who knew her as "the world's best Nana."

Lori is preceded in death by her father, William E. Grubb, and is also survived by her mother, Linda (Caviness) Grubb; her three sisters, Debra (Richard) Fradette, Vickie (Scott) Ross, and Susan Grubb; and her nephews and niece, Anthony Burgett, Zachery Ross, and Shelby Ross.

As mentioned, a major portion of Lori's love went to her grandson, Conner, who is on the autism spectrum. A visitation service will be held at Forest Lawn Funeral Home (1977 S SR 135, Greenwood, IN, 46143) on Wednesday, September 3rd, from 3PM-6:30PM, with a memorial service to follow.
