Velton O. (Joe) Hinton 88 died December 17, 2011 in Greenwood In. He was a WWII Army veteran, a Deacon and Sunday school teacher for many years at Trammel Fork Missionary Baptist Church in Scottsville, Ky Joe was a self employed farmer near Scottsville until moving to Greenwood in 2005 to be near his family. He is survived by his wife Jean of fifty years, his son John and Daughter in law Brenda, and his four grandchildren Brad, Michael, Luke, and Sarah. Also survived by a nephew and his three nieces. His funeral service will be Wednesday, December 21, 1:00 PM at Forest Lawn Funeral Home 1977 South State Road 135, Greenwood, In. Family will receive friends from 11:30am until the time of service. Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.
