Vera Mae Davis, 81, of Greenwood, died Monday, July 13, 2009. Vera was born to the late Everett and Marie Potter Page in Indianapolis, IN on May 29, 1928. Vera had worked for American States Insurance as a clerk. She was a member of the Order of Eastern Star. Surviving are two daughters and son-inlaws: Carolyn and Norm Strader, and Rebecca Jepsen and Tom Guerrette. Two grandsons: Rick and Tim Legan, and one great-grandaughter: Kimberly Legan. She is preceded by her parents, one son Kenneth Lyon, and two brothers. Family will recieve friends Sunday, July 19 from 2-4 PM with funeral service at 4:00 PM at Forest Lawn Funeral Home and Memory Gardens, 1977 South State Road 135, Greenwood, IN 46143. Private graveside service will be Monday at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.
