Veronica McWhirter, age 59 of Greenfield, died on Friday, June 26th at Hancock Regional Hospital in Greenfield. She was born December 5, 1949, and was the daughter of Verner "Tom" and Juanita (Hoots) Thacker. She married Charles McWhirter in 1967 who survives. Veronica loved to read, watch movies and collecting dolls. She is survived by her father Tom, husband Charles, son David McWhirter, grandson Gavin Caleb McWhirter and brother Michael Thacker. She was preceded in death by her mother and a grandson Alexander David McWhirter. Services will be 1:00pm on Wednesday July 1, 2009 at Forest Lawn Funeral Home 1977 South State Road 135 in Greenwood, IN 46143. Visitation will be from 4:00pm to 7:00pm Tuesday at the funeral home.
