Viola A. "Dean" Rosberg
Viola Adean "Dean" Rosberg, 77, died November 16, 2008 at University Heights Health & Living Community, Indianapolis. She has been a resident of Greenwood since 1976 coming from Beech Grove. She was born February 6, 1931 in Cleveland, Ohio. Her parents were Horace Carlos and Viola (Whittle) France. She married Donald R. Rosberg on March 5, 1949 in Greenfield, IN . He preceded her in death on May 14, 1994. She retired from Indiana Oxygen after 20 years of service. She was active in the Ford Retirement Auxiliary, Greenwood Senior Citizens and Beech Grove Senior Citizens. Viola loved to play bingo, euchre and enjoyed traveling having traveled all over the world.
Survivors include four sons: Rick (Pam) Rosberg and Steve (Gale) Rosberg both of Greenwood, Tim Rosberg and Ron Rosberg both of Martinsville. She was also survived by 3 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by both parents, husband, one brother Carlos "Jupe" France and one sister Juanita "Winnie" Wiltsee.
Services will be conducted by Rev. Craig Tucker at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, 1977 South State Road 135, Greenwood on Thursday, November 20th, at 10:30 a.m. Friends may call 4pm to 8pm Wednesday and 9:30am Thursday until time of service. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.
