Violet Bartlett (Gilliam) Bartlett's Obituary
Violet Jean (Gilliam) Bartlett, 93, of Indianapolis, passed away June 27, 2014. The daughter of Floyd Gilliam and Edith (Dawson) Gilliam Shelley, Violet was born July 24, 1920 in Noblesville, Indiana.
A homemaker, Violet was a member of Meadlawn Christian Church.
She is survived by son, Richard D. (Becky) Bartlett of Indianapolis and daughter, Patricia McClintic of Orlando, Florida; brother Robert Gilliam of Greenwood; four grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Besides her parents, Violet was preceded in death by her husband, Norman H. Bartlett and brother, Robert Shelley.
Private entombment will be held at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens, Greenwood. Forest Lawn Funeral Home, Greenwood is entrusted with arrangements.
