Violet G. Spears, age 84, passed away Dec. 25 at Friendship Healthcare, Indianapolis, where she had lived for the past few years. She was born in Woodman, KY to Rawley and Hattie (Witte) Totten. She was a cashier and waitress for many years. She married Frank Spears and he preceded her in death, August 14, 1967. She loved her grandchildren and loved to cook. Violet is survived by her son, Dan Spears and his wife Rebecca, of Indianapolis; her daughter, Linda Brummett and her husband, David, of Monticello, KY; one sister, Lois Dotsun, of Corunna, MI; 5 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. There will be no services.
