Virgil C. Durham's Obituary
Virgil C. Durham, 87, of Greenwood, passed away May 6, 2014.
He was born December 13, 1926 in Corbin, Kentucky to the late George and Mollie (Petrey) Durham. Virgil was a retired over- the- road truck driver and a veteran of the United States Navy, having served in WWII and Korea.
He is survived by his wife Barbara (Ribelin); two sons, Bruce and Steve Durham; a daughter Patti G. Wade; nine grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, and a son, Greg R. Durham.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 am Monday at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens, Greenwood, with burial to follow.
