Mrs. Virginia 'Ginger' Jones, Indianapolis, passed away on the morning of Thursday, February 19, 2026, having attained the age of 81 years. Ginger was born August 30, 1944, in Indianapolis, Indiana, a daughter of the late William Ray and Norma Elizabeth (Seidel) Parker.
Ginger attended University Heights High School in Indianapolis and was a devoted homemaker, caring for her family and home.
Ginger is survived by her loving husband of 64 years, Charles 'Chuck' Jones; her children, Jackie (Tommy) Lowe and Randy (Cathy) Jones; her brother, Richard (Karen) Parker; Nana to her three grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren and aunt to many nieces and nephews. Ginger (Nana) had a way of stealing the hearts of everyone she met.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in passing by her sisters.
Funeral services will be conducted at 12:00 pm, Monday, March 2, 2026 at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, Greenwood. She will laid to rest at Forest Lawn Funeral Home with Pastor Danny Thomas officiating.
The family will receive friends from 10:00 am until the time of service Monday at the funeral home.
