Mrs. Virginia Rose Kinser, Indianapolis, passed away on the late evening of Monday, July 17, 2023. She was 85. Virginia was born March 24, 1938 in Paoli, Indiana, a daughter of the late Lawrence and Mary Ethel Moneyhan.
Virginia was a graduate of Emmerich Manual High School and had been employed as a Legal Law Librarian at Eli Lilly & Company and retired in 1993 after 34 years of service. She enjoyed horses and dogs and traveling across the United States. She loved playing Buncko and had been a member of the Buncko Babes since 1954 and was one of the last two remaining members.
Virginia was a member of the Woodland Baptist Church in Indianapolis.
Virginia is survived by her children, Martine (Mike) Miller and Russell (Barbara) Osborne; five grandchildren; several great-grandchidren and her brother, Max Moneyhan.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in passing by her husband, Charles D. Kinser.
Funeral services will be conducted at 12:00 noon, Monday, July 24, 2023 at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, Greenwood. She will be entombed beside her husband at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.
The family will receive friends from 10:00 am until the time of services Monday at the funeral home.
For those choosing to make a memorial contribution in Virginia's memory, the family suggests those be offered to the Alzheimer's Association or the Humane Society.
