Virginia G. Lyons, 90, of Indianapolis passed away October 9, 2018. She was born in Cumberland County, KY to Marvin T. and Sada G. (Cary) Rowe.

Virginia was a member of South Keystone Church of Christ and attended church every Sunday. She was a tough woman; her strong faith was shown when she lost her daughter and husband in the same year. She was devoted to her family, and loved spending time with her grandkids. Virginia had a great sense of humor and enjoyed life as well as shopping on QVC. She also enjoyed collecting antiques, and going to garage sales.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Vernon Lyons; daughter, Anita C. Pace; step son, Danny R. Lyons and sister, Dortha Mae Dyer.

Virginia is survived by her son, Bob Watson; step children, Steven W. Lyons and Teresa L. Smith; grandchildren, Tina M. Baum, Michelle R. Brunsman and Kelly R. Campbell and 8 great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 14, 2018 from 4:00 pm – 8:00 pm in Forest Lawn Funeral Home, 1977 S. State Rd. 135, Greenwood. A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 15, 2018 at 11:00 am, also in the funeral home. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.
