Virginia N. Skweres, 86, of Greenwood passed away on December 24 at Franklin United Methodist Community. She had been a resident there for the past 4 years. Virginia was a loving mother, and she shared that love as a volunteer at Methodist Hospital for 25 years. She was also a former member of Cherry Hill Church in Bloomington, Calvary Tabernacle in Indianapolis, and a member of the Order of the Eastern Star. Survivors include three daughters, Sharon Doiron, Shirley Bryant, and Selina Wilds; two grandchildren Kendra York, and Robert Bryant; and three great-grandchildren, Zane, Caden, and Beckett York. Family and Friends will gather at Forest Lawn Funeral Home and Memory Gardens on Wednesday, December 30 from 4:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. with a service immediatley following at 7:00 P.M.
