Mrs. Vivian Doris Wright, Geenwood, passed away on the morning of Saturday, December 12, 2020. She was 82. Doris was born November 4, 1939 in Somerset, Kentucky a daughter of the late Bruce and Stella (Baker) Burdime.

Doris had been employed at RCA for several in the production department. She enjoyed fishing and gardening and got much pleasure taking care of her plants and flowers and raising vegetables. She had also served as a driver for members of the Amish community for several years. Doris was a member of Chimney Rock Baptist Church in Somerset.

Doris is survived by her sister, Mary McWhirter as well as her nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in passing by her husband, John Wright; and her siblings, Willene McWhirter, Rosalie Bullock, Willard Burdime and Edgar Burdime.

Services will be conducted at 11:00am, Friday, December 18, 2020 at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, Greenwood, with Pastor Carlos Burdime officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.

The family will receive friends from 10:00am until the time of service Friday at the funeral home.
