Wade Edward Cassell, age 88, of Indianapolis, passed away May 2, 2015. The son of Charlie and Carrie Dunbar Cassell, Wade was born January 30, 1927 in Mt. Airy, North Carolina.

After 30 years, he retired from Sunbeam Bread Company as a bread route salesman. Wade is survived by sons, Ric (Theresa) Cassell of Carmel and Tim Cassell of Indianapolis; grandchildren, Keith Cassell, Taylor Cassell, Nikki Richards and Mandy Cassell; great-grandchildren, Alerric Cassell, Delaney Cassell, Miranda Cassell and Jonathan Richards. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Berbiedell L. Slate Cassell; brothers, Louis and Lee Cassell and sister, Marie Lineback.

Dr. Jerry Hillenburg will officiate at funeral services 10:00 a.m. May 5, 2015 at Forest Lawn Funeral Home - 1977 South State Road 135, Greenwood. Friends may call from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on May 4, 2015 and one hour prior to services at the funeral home. Entombment will follow at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens, Greenwood.
