Walter R Campbell, 85 of Indianapolis passed away April 9, 2007. He was born December 2, 1921 in Indianapolis, IN to Walter & Leafy Campbell. Walter served his country during WW II in the 101st Airborne. He was a retired Major from the Indiana National Guard and was a member of the Presbyterian faith, American Legion and 101st Airborne Association. Survivors include his wife Martha Campbell, sons James (LaVerne) Campbell & Dennis (June) Campbell, daughter Jane (Roger) Kelley, grandchildren Jason Kelley, Shelley Mobley, Deanna Campbell & Jill Campbell. He was preceded in death by his parents, 1 brother and 4 sisters. Funeral Services will be conducted Saturday at 2 PM in Forest Lawn Funeral Home, Greenwood, IN.
