Walter Clifford Millard, age 67, of Indianapolis, passed away Thursday, June 4, 2015 with his loving family at his side. He was born January 14, 1948 in Indianapolis to Edgar E. and Marjorie (Pearson) Millard. Cliff was a Truck Driver for many years for Meadow Gold, Borden and later Prairie Farms. He was a member of Teamsters Local # 135, and a Patriot Guard rider. He loved to ride his motorcycles and he was an avid golfer. He played on various golf leagues including Dakota Landing and Thatcher Golf Leagues. He enjoyed model car and ship building and spending time with his family. He was a very caring man and he will be missed by all who know and love him.
Cliff married the former Jeanette Zoellner and she survives along with his son, Walter Clifford Millard, Jr. and his wife, Becky, of Indianapolis; daughter, Tina Chambers and her husband, Nathan, of Greenwood; brother, Joseph Millard and his wife, Paula, of Avon; sisters, Sharon Gibson and companion, Dale Garrett, of Camby, and Esther Hinkley, of Indianapolis; five grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Donald Millard.
Funeral services will be held Monday, June 8, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, with Rev. Danny Thomas officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens. Visitation will be Sunday from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
