Walter Lee Gosser, 76, of Trafalgar, died May 13, 2015. The son of Leonard A. and Viola F. Spradlin Gosser, Walter was born December 27, 1938 in Glasgow, Kentucky.

A tool and die welder for General Motors, he retired in 2001 after 40 years of service. He was a member of Grace Assembly of God in New Whiteland. Walter enjoyed woodworking and riding his Goldwing motorcycle.

Survivors include his wife, Kathy Shaw Gosser of Trafalgar, whom he married on June 29, 1963; daughters, Melissa (Michael) Knapp of Trafalgar and Melinda (Robert) Lathrop of Baldwinsville, New York; brothers, Frank and Marvin Gosser; sisters, Edna Gosser, Janie Harding, Earlene Bennett, Linda Norris and Delpha England; grandchildren, Brian Haima, Jr., Alexander Haima, Clinton (Terra) Knapp, Clayton (Heather) Knapp and Colton Knapp. Besides his parents, Walter was preceded in death by a brother, Howard Gosser and sisters, Lois Lawary, Hazel Gosser and Betty Petro.

Funeral services will be conducted 12:00 noon Tuesday, May 19, 2015 at Forest Lawn Funeral Home - 1977 South State Road 135, Greenwood, where friends may call after 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow services at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens, Greenwood.
