Walter Lee Pitts, 76, of Martinsville passed away August 10, 2011 at Grandview Nursing Home. He and his wife Juanita Pitts who passed December 6, 2006, will be laid to rest in a joint graveside service on August 18, 2011 at 10:30 a.m. at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens, Greenwood, IN. Walter was a carpenter by trade and Juanita was a homemaker. Walter was born to the late Lovie Louise and Ray Leslie Pitts. Juanita was born also to Oletta Tucker Pinkelton Zimmerman and the late Anthony Robert Pinkelton. Walter was also preceded in death by one sister, Bessie Pitts and one brother, Kenneth Pitts. Survivors include their four children, Debbie (John) Henderson of Camby, IN; Randy (Kendra) Pitts of Denver, IN; Pam (LG) Bowman of Paris, IL and Robin (Mark) Conquest of White House, TN, two brothers, Ruben (Sandy) of Clayton, IN; A.Z. (Jenny) Pitts of Greenwood, IN, and one sister, Linda (Cecil) Roberts of Joelton, TN, nine grandchildren, Andy and Billy Hutchinson, Eric and Alyssa Pitts, Travis and Todd Smith, Brad Pruitt, Steven and Nicole Conquest and six great grandchildren.
