WALTER L. WILKINS
Walter L. Wilkins, 76 of Russellville, beloved husband of Carol Janet (Rochford) Wilkins, returned to his Lord Wednesday, August 15, 2007 at St. Mary''s Regional Medical Center, Russellville, Arkansas. Walter, was born June 13, 1931 in Cincinnati, Ohio to Rufus L. Wilkins and Orpha E. (Culp) Wilkins. Walter graduated from Loveland High School in Loveland Ohio, attended Bell Research Labs (Naval Research Lab) and the Cincinnati Conservatory of Music.
Walter was a veteran of the United States Navy, he loved music played the pipe organ, piano, and several other musical instruments, enjoyed designing knives, collecting of handguns and was proficient with a handgun, competed in target competitions and working with wood.
Funeral service will be held 4:00 PM,Tuesday, August 21, 2007 at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, 1977 S. State Road 135 Greenwood, Indiana. Burial will be at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens. www.forestlawncemetery-fh.com
