Wanda Irene Griffin, 79, of Indianapolis died Tuesday, January 5, 2010. Wanda was born to the late Delbert and Nellie Kemplin Cooper in Charleston, West Virginia on September 7, 1930. Wanda was a homemaker and baby sit in her home for over 50 years. She married Elmer C. Griffin and he precedes in death. Wanda was an active member for over 30 years at the Southside Church of the Nazarene. Wanda was a longtime Sunday school teacher touching many lives. Surviving are two sons and daughter in-laws: James & Judy Griffin and Jeffrey & Anita Griffin. Ten grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Three brothers: John, Dink, and Delbert Cooper. Four sisters: Phylis Chadd, Doris Davis, Margaret Russell, and Edith Craze. Family will receive friends Friday from 4-8 PM. Funeral Service will be at 10:30 AM Saturday at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens and Funeral Home 1977 South State Road 135, Greenwood, IN 46143. Entombment to follow at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.
